Hi, I'm Marley, a UX Designer from Milwaukee, WI.
Optimization
I regularly think about ways to optimize apps that I use daily to be more user-friendly. I've used my own pain points to identify areas for improvement. Below, I've included mockups that provide intuitive solutions and new features for apps I frequently use.
Instead of having to click around to different pages from the menu, there is now an option on the home page to schedule a new session. You can also see what class has already been booked and which room it is taking place in, so you aren't confused on where to go for your workout. Finally, rescheduling and canceling options right from the home page save time.
When completing a workout, I have added an option to "like" a song right from the class screen. This will add it to a playlist of your "Liked Songs", which you can access and listen to at any time. You can also add notes for the amount of weight you used and number of reps you completed for each exercise within the class, so you can progress the next time you take it.
Reply buttons after each text allow you to respond to a specific message within a thread, in case multiple people are adding text at the same time. A poll option allows you to get answers from your teammates about a question, without each person having to type in their answer. Finally, the star allows you to favorite a thread if it contains useful information that you want to reference later.
